Storm Window Capabilities
Storm Window keeps the safety core available to every user. Paid tiers add personalization, multiple places, deeper inspection, advanced on-device alerts, Apple Intelligence explanations, Trips, and server-powered push safety alerts. Forecast values stay unchanged; profiles and personal settings tune how risk is classified for the selected activity. Saved locations, custom profiles, and key settings sync automatically across devices on the same Apple ID.
Feature tiers
Pro+ adds Apple Intelligence guidance on supported devices. AI explains Storm Window’s calculated guidance; it does not decide the underlying risk rating. On devices without Apple Intelligence, every Pro+ feature below still works — Storm Window automatically falls back to its own plain-language explanation of the same rating.

Risk factor roles
Factors fall into three categories: verdict inputs that can close the low-risk window, internal model signals that feed the verdict but are not shown individually, and advisories that provide planning context without changing the window. This separation keeps Storm Window focused on outdoor safety instead of turning it into a general weather dashboard.
